The Connecticut River Valley Antiques Show and Historic Preservation Fair returns for a second year under the stewardship of the Haddam Historical Society and Goosefare Antiques & Promotions. New location but same quality dealers and superb merchandise, as well as experts in the historic house preservation field. Thank you to our 2025 Title Sponsor, HandPaintedWoodSigns.com.
The show, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and 12, 2025, will be held at the Haddam– Killingworth Middle/Intermediate School - a new larger facility with streamlined floor plan and large open space. In addition to featuring 30 well-respected and quality antiques dealers, the show will also include programming aimed at owners of antique houses, with exhibits and informative presentations on how to restore, preserve and curate older homes.
“We will have offerings for seasoned collectors, but also have a wider range of period antiques for younger collectors and the owners of the many antique homes in New England.”
Goosefare Antiques and Promotions, a high-end antiques dealer that operates more than a dozen high quality shows in the Northeast, will manage the show. John and Elizabeth DeSimone, owners of Goosefare, are excited to work again with the Haddam Historical Society on the success of last year's show which earned high marks from attendees and dealers alike.
The mission of the Haddam Historical Society is to preserve the history and heritage of Haddam for present and future generations. Show proceeds will support Society museums – The Thankful Arnold House and the Haddam Shad Museum – and educational initiatives.
