Revisiting the Red House Tea Room–for Kids

Did you know that in the early 20th century the Thankful Arnold House Museum briefly housed The Red House Tea Room? Kids aged 5-12 are invited to revisit the tea room from the past, first learning its history and then reimagining it as their own. Participants will design their own tea room menu and paint a wooden sign for their establishment. Of course, no visit to a tea room would be complete without a cuppa, so kids will also have a chance to sample some items from the original menu! Like the guests from prior generations, we hope you'll also "stop here and rest awhile."
