Clarkhurst/George Dudley Seymour State Park Walk

Meet at the end of Clarkhurst Road in Haddam Neck

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Haddam Historical Society and Haddam Land Trust will host a walk George Dudley Seymour State Park in Haddam Neck formerly Clarkhurst Resort. The walk will take place between 9 am and 12 pm.

Elizabeth Malloy of the Historical Society and Peter Smith of the Land Trust, both Haddam Neck natives will share their knowledge of this historically and environmentally rich spot which once was grazing land, tobacco farm and 20^th century resort. The park features a broad grassy tidal flat and picturesque rock cliffs home to a variety of bird species and other wildlife.
