Not-Too-Haunted Cemetery Tour—Program for Kids
Shailerville-Tylerville Cemetery, Haddam, CT
Kids of ALL ages are invited to join us for a guided tour of the Shailorville Tylerville Cemetery on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 2 pm, just in time for a Halloween haunting! We will learn about some of the interesting people who were buried here and dive into the symbolism of historic headstones. We'll also try our hands at the early American art of stenciling, as we design our own gravestone-themed canvas tote. Fill the finished tote with whatever treats or tricks you desire! A small snack will be provided; please wear footwear that is appropriate for outdoor walking and clothing that can be stained.
