The Haddam Historical Society will host a tour of the historic Haddam Jail cellblock on October 7 and 8, 2023 from 1 pm to 4 pm.  Visitors will meet some of the famous and not so well-known historic prisoners who were incarcerated in the Haddam Jail in the 19^th and 20^th century.

Local actors and volunteers will portray real prisoners who were jailed for various crimes including arson, bigamy, and murder. We are partnering with the local theater group, Blue Fire Stage Company. Learn more about Blue Fire Stage Company on their Facebook page.

Come and hear their stories, learn their fates including the Candy Store Arsonists and the River Pirate
